Казахстанский Национальный Комитет "Человек и Биосфера"

4-й Всемирный конгресс по биосферным заповедникам состоялся в Лиме, Перу, с 14 марта по 17 в 2016 году Данное событие является всемирной встречей национальных комитетов программы ЮНЕСКО «Человек и биосфера» (МАБ) и экспертов, непосредственно участвующих в практической работе в биосферных резерватах.
Конгресс обсудил различные вопросы, связанные с целями ООН по устойчивому развитию и Программой развития «Post 2015», таких как образование для устойчивого развития, экономическая жизнеспособность природоохранных систем, человеческие миграции и охрана природных ресурсов и другие темы.
Участие Казахстанской делегации в составе 4 человек. Руководителем делегации РК является председатель казахстанского национального комитета МАБ и вице-президент МАБ ЮНЕСКО по Азии и Тихому океану Р.В. Ященко (доктор биологических наук, профессор КазНУ имени аль-Фараби). Во время работы конгресса члены казахстанской делегации выступят с несколькими докладами на пленарной и секционных сессиях.
